A shoulder mount of an African Bongo is one of the hardest taxidermy pieces to find. A specimen of this caliber makes the search a lot harder. Mounted in a semi-sneak pose, with a relaxed expression and a slight turn of the head to the right. Good hair with the sharp, distinctive markings these antelope are known for. Heavy horns, measuring 25 1/2" around the curl with 9 1/2" bases that just make bronze medal in the SCI record book. Quality taxidermy workmanship, earning a rating of "Excellent". The rarest piece in the Grand Slam of African spiral horn antelope. This is the best Bongo wall mount we've located to date.
